Types of Animation

Though there are several types of animation, the most popular animations are listed below:

3D Animation

It is one of the most popular types of animation, It is a lengthy process having series of tasks to achieve the desired results, for example below are some tasks to produce a 3D animation video:

  • 3D Modeling – Making the 3D models of Characters, objects, Props and environments which are part of script
  • Rigging – Making the bone structure of characters / Objects to make the joints flexible to allow realistic movement as per need of script using the specialized tools

2D Animation

This animation’s process does not involve the lengthy and elaborate process as 3D animation and can be delivered in shorter time with a smaller team using normal workstations.
